Other defendants in the suit filed at the Ikere-Ekiti High Court are the Ekiti State government, the state Attorney General, the state Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and 15 members of the state Council of Obas. One of the reliefs sought by Obasoyin is an order directing the 5th-20th defendants to release, publish and make public their findings on the matter. The monarch also wants the court to direct the state government, Fayose and Attorney General to accept the findings and recommendations of the chieftaincy committee. At the court’s sitting on Monday, Justice Olusegun Ogunyemi warned parties in the suit to the maintain status quo until the end of the case.
