Besides, the governor said he had adopted about 275 children from African continent, saying that five children was adopted from each of the 55 countries in African, bringing it to a total of 275 children. This was also as the governor said he would continue to be at his best while sustaining his efforts at assisting the less-privileged through the Rochas Foundation. Hundreds of women from across the 27 council areas of the state had converged in Owerri, the Imo state capital, in a solidarity march from Wetheral Road to the Government House, marking the commencement of a five-day activities earmarked for the governor’s 55th birthday celebration. Elated Okorocha, while addressing the women, said “I am thankful to God for sustaining me to this day and I must say that I have no regrets whatsoever as I will continue to do the things that I have been doing especially in ensuring that the less privileged children have access to education which my Foundation has been doing over the years.
