The state government alleged that the affected staff were appointed without due process, and added that there was irregularities in their appointments. Reacting to the development, the NBA chairman said: “Since the JSC, which employed them declared their appointments irregular, the association will wade into it and see what made the appointments irregular.” Oso said the list of the affected judicial officers was being compiled for necessary interface with the relevant government officials. However, he acknowledged that JSC which employed the staff could sack them but, should follow laid down procedure affecting their terms of employment.
