The lawyer who handles the matter for the Hospital Barr. L. L. B. Iboroma, said was contacted to make some clarification on some false and gray areas peddled along with the facts of the matter. Counsel Iboroma, esq., stated respectfully that, the first publication was a one sided narrative by just one of the counsel of the claimants alone Kheinde Ojo, Esq., who works with the law firm of Banjo Ayenakin & Co., that handles the matter. They alleged that the claimants had been in the habit of paying certain persons in the media in order to sensationalize the proceedings of the court right from the inception of the matter till that day, without any regards to the fact that the matter is still pending and their conduct would amount to a subjudice. The Court never made any such order sending the MD to jail, rather the court insisted that its order of 5ft December, 2016, be complied with or either the parties reach an amicable solution between 12 and 5pm of that day or else the MD would be held for contempt of court and the court then threatened that it will jail the MD for 1 month. At about 5pm an amicable solution was reached, at about 6 pm the court vacated the suspended Order it made and pronounced on the agreement of both parties as the consent judgement of the court. The MD and his officers all left the court that same date and headed for the hospital even while the untrue one sided narrative was being shared freely over the media platforms. As counsel to the suit, I have the privilege to know what truly happened and that the case is still on going. The parties reached an agreement that the November 2016, salaries of the Doctors be paid by the end of the month of July. And the matter is adjourned to the 12 of October 2017 for report of compliance. ]]>
