The relationship between Nigerian music star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and Natasha Osawaru has come under renewed public scrutiny following reports of an altercation involving the pair outside a nightclub in Abuja on Friday.

The incident reportedly occurred during the opening of “90s Lounge” and has since generated reactions on social media after videos purportedly showing moments from the scene began circulating online.
Although the videos have attracted public attention, they do not clearly show what triggered the reported confrontation or establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
One account circulating online alleged that Natasha arrived at the venue with some men and waited for 2Baba to arrive. According to the account, she later approached the singer’s vehicle and demanded to speak with him, leading to a commotion outside the venue.
The account further alleged that 2Baba eventually took Natasha inside the venue to prevent the situation from escalating.
An eyewitness who claimed to have been present at the scene also alleged that Natasha arrived before 2Baba and approached his vehicle in an attempt to speak with him before both of them later went into the club together.
The eyewitness claimed that the pair had not been on good terms for months and that Natasha had not been able to see the singer before the nightclub incident.
“Allegedly, 2Face and his latest wife, Natasha, haven’t been on good terms for months, and she hasn’t even been able to see him. She reportedly heard that the owner of Trukadero was opening a club called 90’s yesterday, so she went there and waited for 2Face.
“When he finally arrived, she rushed to his car and started making a scene, saying she wanted to see her husband and talk to him,” the eyewitness claimed.
However, the claims have not been independently verified, and neither 2Baba nor Natasha has publicly addressed the account of what allegedly happened at the venue.
The development comes amid fresh social media attention on 2Baba’s relationship with his estranged wife, actress Annie Macaulay, after checks showed that the former couple now follow each other again on Instagram.
2Baba and Annie had earlier unfollowed each other after the singer announced their separation in January 2025.
Further checks also showed that 2Baba no longer follows Natasha on Instagram, a development that has fuelled further speculation about the state of his relationship with the Edo State lawmaker.
However, the renewed Instagram connection between 2Baba and Annie, as well as his decision to unfollow Natasha, does not by itself establish the current state of either relationship.
The latest incident has once again placed 2Baba’s private life in the public space, months after his relationship with Natasha became widely discussed.
Natasha had publicly referred to the singer as her husband in May 2025, after 2Baba announced his separation from Annie and later proposed to the Edo lawmaker. The pair subsequently held a traditional wedding.
Since then, the relationship has attracted repeated public attention, including a reported clash during an Instagram Live session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze.
The pair also made headlines following reports of an altercation in the United Kingdom that allegedly led to 2Baba’s arrest.
In another controversy, 2Baba publicly apologised to Natasha after saying during an interview that “men are not built for one woman.”
The latest developments have renewed speculation about both his relationship with Natasha and his connection with Annie, but none of the parties has publicly linked the Instagram activity to the reported Abuja nightclub incident.
Efforts to reach 2Baba’s management for clarification were unsuccessful, as the phone number was switched off at the time of filing this report.
