Hunter Biden, son of former United States President Joe Biden, has said his father’s prostate cancer has spread to other parts of his body and is causing him severe pain.

Hunter disclosed this in an interview with the BBC, where he spoke about the former President’s current health condition following the cancer diagnosis he revealed in May last year, less than four months after leaving the White House.

According to Hunter, the cancer has metastasised and spread into Biden’s bones, making the condition painful and debilitating.

“The cancer has spread, metastasized into his bones and further,” he said. “It’s very painful and it’s very debilitating in many respects.”

Hunter described the situation as difficult for the family to witness, saying his father does not complain as much as he believes he should.

“It’s really sad to watch,” he said. “The only thing that I’d say about my dad, about his health right now, is I wish he would complain more, because it’s not good.”

Despite the illness, Hunter said the former President remains active and continues to speak publicly on issues that matter to him.

He said Biden is still engaged with public life and remains deeply committed to the United States.

“He’s still doing his thing. He so believes in this country,” Hunter said.
