Four Nigerian sisters who recently qualified as lawyers have celebrated their mother in an emotional ceremony, days after the 2026 Call to Bar ceremonies in Abuja.

The sisters, identified from their social media handles as Jesudunmo, Jesuferanmi, Jesupologo and Jesusepataki Longe, went viral after sharing a video in which they appeared in full legal regalia, including black robes and white wigs, while paying tribute to their mother.

The video, captioned, “POV: You raised four daughters and every single one became a lawyer,” was shared on Sunday on their Instagram pages, @jesudunmolonge, @thejesuferanmilonge, @jesupologo__ and @jesusepataki__bola.

In the clip, the four sisters were seen kneeling on a platform inside a photography studio as their mother, dressed in a pink lace outfit, walked towards them.

As she approached, the words “Mummy, We are grateful” appeared on the screen.

Their mother was seen touching each of them on the head in a gesture of blessing before helping them to their feet. The family later danced and celebrated together, with the video ending with one of the sisters performing a solo dance in her legal attire.

Sharing the video, the sisters wrote, “The proudest title isn’t MUM. It’s ‘Mother of four lawyers.’”

The name of their mother was not disclosed in the viral posts, as she was affectionately referred to only as “Mummy.”

The tribute comes shortly after the 2026 Call to Bar ceremonies held from July 7 to July 10 at the Body of Benchers Complex in Abuja, where thousands of law graduates were formally admitted to the Nigerian Bar after completing their professional legal training at the Nigerian Law School.

The video has attracted widespread reactions on social media, with many users praising the mother for her sacrifice, prayers and commitment to the education of her daughters.

Many described the moment as inspiring, especially considering the financial, emotional and academic demands involved in raising children through university education and the Nigerian Law School.

Reports around the family’s story also highlighted the sisters’ strong academic background, shared discipline and close family support system.

One of the sisters, Jesudunmo Bola Longe, was said to have previously graduated with a First Class degree in Law from the University of Ibadan, where she reportedly credited her success to hard work and the sacrifices of her parents.

The sisters were also said to have relied strongly on their mother’s spiritual and emotional support throughout their academic journey, with reports indicating that Jesudunmo often called her mother for prayers before examinations.

Their viral celebration has since been described by many online users as a powerful reminder of parental sacrifice, family unity and the reward of investing in children’s education.
