A candidate for the position of General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Nnaebuka Onyebuchi Nwaeze, has congratulated Sani Ammani, Esq., on his election as Chairman of the NBA Kano Branch.

Nwaeze also congratulated all newly elected officers of the branch on what he described as their well-deserved victory in the just concluded branch elections.

In a goodwill message, Nwaeze said Ammani’s election was a demonstration of the trust and confidence reposed in him by members of the Kano Branch.

According to him, the mandate reflects the belief of members in Ammani’s capacity and commitment to promoting their professional aspirations in line with the ideals of justice and the rule of law.

“Your election is a demonstration of the trust and confidence of the members of the branch in your capacity and commitment to promoting and refining their aspirations towards the ideals of justice and rule of law,” he said.

Nwaeze noted that as Ammani assumes leadership of the branch, he has a rare privilege to guide and positively influence the professional and collegial aspirations of members.

He expressed confidence that the new chairman’s tenure would build on the progress already recorded by the branch, citing his track record of selfless devotion to the affairs of the NBA Kano Branch.

“As you assume leadership of the Branch, you have a rare privilege guiding and positively influencing the professional and collegial aspirations of the members of the branch; and knowing your track record of selfless devotion to the affairs of the Branch, I am confident that your tenure will build on the gains already made in that direction,” Nwaeze stated.

He further congratulated members of the newly elected executive team and the entire Kano Branch, saying the election had opened a new chapter for the branch under Ammani’s leadership.

“Once again, I congratulate you, all members of your newly elected team and the generality of Kano Branch for the new chapter that has just opened for the Branch with your leadership,” he added.
