A Lagos-based content creator and thrift vendor, popularly known as Fems Thrift, has alleged that she and a friend were sexually assaulted after being lured to Ajao Estate with a fraudulent modelling offer worth N140,000.

The businesswoman made the allegation in a video posted on her TikTok page, stating that the incident occurred on Friday, February 8, 2026.

According to her, a man contacted her via Instagram on February 1, claiming he had recently returned from the United Kingdom to launch an international fashion brand in Nigeria. She said he offered her N140,000 for a modelling assignment and requested that she promote the brand on her social media platforms.

Fems said she accepted the offer after the man assured her that a full production team, including a make-up artist, would be present at the location.

The chat between the content creator and the man, who goes by “The Son of a Praying Mother,” has been revealed.

In the chat, the man is seen speaking to her about a job, asking for her fee and other requirements, and vowing that he could not cheat her.

The man sounded professional in the chat, up until when the lady expressed concern about the time he chose for the shoot.

When the woman complained about the late hour, he asked if she was a minor and if her parents would be coming with her. He claimed he does not work with minors and told her he was asking these questions for her safety.

The content creator explained that she has a curfew, then he assured her that the shoot would be done in two hours.

She added that she did not go alone for safety reasons.

“My friend was already with me, so she accompanied me for safety,” she said in the video.

However, on arriving at the agreed location in Ajao Estate, she alleged that the situation changed, resulting in what she described as sexual assault.

Meanwhile, Our correspondent gathered that the suspect has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command, and investigations are ongoing.
