According to him, for a constitutional amendment to take place, all chapters of the federation must be notified to send their own contributions in line with rule 35 of the union’s constitution but the national body of the union refused to comply. He explained that the union is fond of amending constitution anytime election is approaching to favour certain candidates, saying the recent amendment has squashed limitation on the number of times a candidate can contest.
