The Association of Environmental Lawyers of Nigeria (AELN) is set to host its 2025 Annual Dinner, Awards, and Investiture this evening, bringing together leading legal practitioners, policymakers, academics, and stakeholders in the environmental sector.

Ahead of the event, the Chairman of AELN’s Advisory Board, Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama, OFR, SAN, Life Bencher, C.Arb, sent a goodwill message praising the association for its unwavering commitment to environmental justice, professional excellence, and the strengthening of legal frameworks for sustainability in Nigeria.

Chief Gadzama highlighted the relevance of this year’s theme, “Sustainable Horizons: The Role of AI in Environmental Protection,” noting the growing importance of technology in enhancing environmental governance. He also congratulated members scheduled for investiture, describing the honour as a testament to their dedication to the association’s values and the advancement of environmental law practice.

Award recipients were similarly commended for their contributions to advocacy and shaping policy discourse in the environmental sector. The Advisory Board Chairman reaffirmed the Board’s ongoing support for AELN’s programmes and long-term vision.
