The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course will commence nationwide on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, across all designated camps.

According to the scheme, registration for all prospective corps members will open on November 19 and close at midnight on Friday, November 21, 2025.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.

Embu confirmed that the official swearing-in ceremony for the Batch ‘C’ corps members will take place on Friday, November 21, while the closing ceremony has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

She added that the Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has wished all prospective corps members safe journeys to their various orientation camps, advising them to avoid night travels and remain security-conscious throughout their service year.

The NYSC also disclosed that the announcement followed the release of call-up numbers for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ prospective corps members, which was confirmed on the scheme’s official X handle on Tuesday.

It further explained that camp placements were limited to about 40 per cent of registered prospective corps members due to accommodation and facility constraints across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The scheme, however, assured that those unable to secure placement in Batch ‘C’ would be mobilised in the next service exercise.
