The family of the late Mrs. Nsomma Gladys Ubani of Awomukwu, Ikwuano Local Government Area, Abia State, has announced her passing and funeral arrangements. Mrs. Ubani, a revered mother, grandmother, and community matriarch, passed away peacefully in February 2025 at the age of 90.

Her funeral service is scheduled to hold on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Awomukwu Secondary School Field, Umuosoko, Awomukwu Village, Ikwuano LGA, Abia State, with the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the same venue.

A short service of songs will take place on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Umuosoko, Awomukwu, starting at 5:00 p.m.

The family, led by her son, Dr. Monday Onyekachi Ubani, SAN, has invited friends, well-wishers, and members of the public to join in celebrating the life and legacy of their dearly departed matriarch.
