The Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu, on Friday, 12th September 2025, commissioned the newly built High Court Complex at Isheri-Olofin in Ifo Local Government Area.

Speaking at the ceremony, Justice Dipeolu described the court as a testament to the strong partnership between the Isheri community and the state judiciary. She stressed that the facility marked a major leap toward an accessible, efficient, and responsive judicial system in Ogun State.

“From the commissioning of courts in Ijoko, Ifo, and Ojodu Abidoun last year to this magnificent facility today, we remain steadfast in our mission to ensure that no citizen of Ogun State is denied justice due to geographical or logistical constraints,” she said.

The Chief Judge noted that this commissioning was the fourth of its kind in the last eighteen months and the third in the Ogun West Senatorial District within the past year. She expressed optimism that the court would serve as a crucial hub for the delivery of justice, ease workload pressure on existing courts, and provide direct access to a court of superior record.

Justice Dipeolu also expressed appreciation to His Royal Majesty, Oba Engr. Suleiman Adekunle Bamgbade, and the people of Isheri-Olofin for donating the building to the state judiciary.

In his goodwill message, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Olugbedele, lauded the Chief Judge for her efforts in providing accessible justice and called for continued collaboration between traditional rulers and the judiciary.

Ifo Local Government Chairman, Hon. Idris Kusimo, highlighted that the establishment of more courts in the area has contributed to a reduction in crime rates. Oba Bamgbade, in his response, thanked the Chief Judge for approving the construction of the court building and pledged to maintain and improve the area for court proceedings.

The commissioning event was attended by High Court judges of Ogun State, the OGSJ management team, magistrates, judicial research officers, legal practitioners, other royal fathers, and community leaders.
