The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has inaugurated a Judicial Service Commission to oversee key aspects of justice administration in the state, with the Chief Judge, Hon Justice Iyabo Yerima, appointed as Chairman and members including Chief Moyosore Ajani.
According to a statement by the Governor on Tuesday via his LinkedIn page, the newly constituted commission includes the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Abiodun Aikomo; President of the Customary Court of Appeal, Hon Justice Tajudeen M. Abdulganiyu; and Mrs M. O. Abdulganiyu, who will serve as Secretary.
Other members of the commission are Barr. Musibau Adetunji, Chief Joshua Abioye, and Barr. Wahab Adedigba.
Governor Makinde emphasised the crucial role of the commission in the effective administration of justice in the state and urged members to discharge their duties with diligence and integrity.
The statement reads, “This afternoon, we inaugurated the Oyo State Judicial Service Commission, which will be led by the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Hon Justice Iyabo Yerima as Chairman. Other members of the commission are: Attorney-General/Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Abiodun Aikomo, Hon Justice Tajudeen M. Abdulganiyu (President Customary Court of Appeal, Oyo State), Mrs M. O. Abdulganiyu (Secretary), Barr. Musibau Adetunji, Chief Joshua Abioye, Chief Moyosore Ajani, Barr. Wahab Adedigba.
