A 36-YEAR-OLD woman, Mrs. Abiola, tragically lost her life following a cosmetic procedure at a clinic in Lekki Phase I, Lagos.

According to a report at Maroko Police Division, Mrs. Abiola, a resident of Diamond Estate, Sangotedo, Ibeju-Lekki, instructed her private driver to take her to the clinic for a buttock enhancement injection, commonly referred to as a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).

Upon arrival at the clinic around 3:00 pm, the owner directed a nurse to administer the injection.

Shortly after the procedure, Mrs. Abiola became unconscious and began gasping for breath. She was rushed to a nearby hospital in Lekki Phase I for treatment.

Despite the efforts of medical personnel, she was pronounced dead on arrival by the doctor on duty.

A team of detectives promptly visited the clinic and the hospital, where the scene was documented and the victim’s body was inspected and photographed.
