The Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) has released its 2024 calendar of training programs tailored for professionals seeking to boost their mediation and conciliation expertise.

The expansive lineup includes a flagship Mediation Skills Accreditation and Certification Course to equip participants with the core competencies required for effective alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Seasoned mediators can also enroll in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses that cover the latest techniques and best practices.

According to ICMC, the courses offer flexible paths for mediators to upgrade their membership status by accumulating credit units. For instance, an Associate Member would need 25 CPD units to transition to a Member and 65 units to become a Fellow.

ICMC has urged interested applicants to leverage the training calendar in order to augment their capabilities and join the organization’s coveted community of certified mediators and conciliators.

The President of ICMC, Dr. Agada John Elachi described the programs as a golden chance for practitioners seeking to future-proof their careers within Nigeria’s rapidly evolving ADR landscape. He welcomed inquiries through listed channels.
