The organizers of the C.O. Anah SAN Memorial Colloquium have announced the 3rd edition of the unique event promoting knowledge, dialogue and human rights in the legal profession.

This year’s colloquium with the theme “Practice Management; The Heartbeat of Every Impactful Legal Career” will hold in Onitsha, Anambra State on October 25th, 2023. It returns to Onitsha where the late C.O. Anah SAN practiced and chaired the NBA Onitsha Branch.

The annual program fosters introspection among Nigerian lawyers regarding their roles in national development. This edition will tackle succession planning, advertising and gender inequality among litigation attorneys.

Thought leaders and distinguished practitioners will lead discussions on the key theme. The event combines physical and virtual participation via Zoom. Registration details will be shared subsequently.

Born in 1935, the late C.O. Anah had an illustrious legal career spanning over 4 decades. He served the NBA in various capacities and was conferred Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2005 before his demise in 2019.

The memorial colloquium celebrates Anah’s life and legacies. It promises enriching sessions focused on elevating legal practice management. Organizers invite lawyers to save the date and contribute to charting the course for excellence.
