In a message to its clients, TEMPLARS, announced as follows:
“We are excited to announce a collaboration with AMPEM Chambers in Accra to launch a new law firm to be known as TEMPLARS in Ghana.
The new firm marks an exciting milestone in TEMPLARS’ continued growth, the result of which is the expansion of our capabilities across key markets in West Africa. Over time, we have seen sustained market interest in Ghana and the West African region, which naturally led to this expansion. The new firm will enable us to meet client needs even more efficiently, whilst maintaining the high-quality legal advice with a commercial imperative that is the hallmark of TEMPLARS.
As part of the collaboration, we will welcome a 12-person team of highly experienced Ghanaian lawyers, many of whom are also qualified in other jurisdictions. The new team will work closely with TEMPLARS’ colleagues in Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Abuja to provide seamless top-tier services to clients in various markets. Ultimately, this collaboration represents a strategic base to provide legal support for clients accessing other economic hubs in the region and, to protect the interests of clients who are already active in West Africa.
Lawyers at the new firm have extensive knowledge of the Ghanaian economy, and will offer full commercial legal services and strategic dispute resolution support across all sectors including mining, energy, infrastructure, financial services, education, franchising, telecommunications, tax, and fintech.
