Two prominent Senior Advocates of Nigeria have joined the league of Lawyers who have openly endorsed the Candidacy of Adesina Adegbite for the office of General Secretary in the 16th of July NBA General Election.
The Learned Silks, Muiz Banire SAN and Olumide Fusika SAN in their separate endorsements described Adesina Adegbite (AA) as the perfect man for the job. According to them based, on their knowledge of him, he is the most qualified and experienced to efficiently run the National Secretariat.
According to Olumide Fusika: “Considering these dire times in the life of our nation vis-a-vis the position of the Nigerian Bar Association as a critical stakeholder in our national affairs, the importance of this round of elections into various national offices of the Association cannot be overstated. It is important, now more than ever, that we put round pegs in round holes by selecting formidable characters that can build a modern, active and verile Bar that can stand true to its cardinal calling as the conscience of the nation.”
He continued, “It is in view of this that I endorse Adesina Adegbite, popularly known as AA, as the Candidate for the office of the office of the National General Secretary which is the heart of the Nigerian Bar Association.
I have known Adegbite for close to two decades and I can confidently attest to his outstanding capabilities and the uncommon passion he brings to service.
With Adegbite in the saddle as the General Secretary, I am confident that the Nigerian Bar Association will live up to its billing in the coming two years.”
In his endorsement, Muiz Banire described AA as the most competent, efficient and resourceful hand any President should crave to work with.
He said: “He eminently deserves to be the next General Secretary of NBA being the most competent, efficient and resourceful hand any President should crave to work with. In my well informed view, Adegbite is the most experienced candidate and should ordinarily not have opposition in this race. If we truly desire an efficient Secretariat, then all members of the Bar must rally behind AA.”
