*States that Maikyau is assertive and effervescent

The founder and First Chairman, Capital Market Solicitors Association (CAMSA) and A senior Advocate of Nigeria, Dr. Anthony Idigbe has endorsed the candidacy of Y.C Maikyau SAN for the NBA President, calling him an assertive and effervescent gentleman.

In a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, Dr. Anthony stated that he knew all the candidates contesting for the NBA Presidency as well as their various capacities, however, he was going to support Maikyau SAN as according to him, he was what NBA needed.

“I know the candidates for the NBA presidency. While they are all capable, I endorse Mr Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau SAN for several reasons. He would be a fresh start.” He said.

Still commenting on the reasons and qualities that endeared Maikyau to him, The learned silk continued thus: “He is an assertive, effervescent and youthful gentleman.”

He expressed his satisfaction with the agenda set by Maikyau SAN in terms of catering for lawyers. His words read thus in part: “I am satisfied with his agenda for the Nigerian Bar in terms of the welfare of lawyers, administration of justice, institutional reform and succession planning for the NBA.”

Still remarking on Maikyau’s qualities, Dr. Anthny referred to Maikyau as someone who is “humble and willing to consult the wisdom of seniors and innovation of youth to ensure his solutions meet the preferences of all stakeholders.”

He went on to express his confidence that Maikyau SAN is an excellent choice for President of the Nigerian Bar Association, and endorsed and recommended Mr Maikyau SAN to all Nigerian lawyers for the position of President of the NBA.
