A Philanthropist, long time practicing lawyer and Life Bencher, Mallam Yusuf Ali SAN has endorsed the candidacy of Yakubu Chinoko Maikyau SAN for the office of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) President, saying that Maikyau SAN deserved his support.

In a statement sighted by TheNigeriaLawyer, Mallam Yusuf Ali SAN stated that he had critically studied all presentation of the candidates contesting for the position of the president of the Legal Profession, before arriving at the decision that he had to support YC Maikyau SAN.

His words read thus: “Good day gentlemen, having critically studied the presentation of the candidates contesting for the position of president of our noble profession, I have come to the settled position that YC Maikyau SAN deserves my support for the coveted position.”

Endorsing Maikyau SAN, The life Bencher had nothing but good things to say about the silk, stating that it was these qualities that formed the premise for his support of Maikyau’s candidacy.

“My support is hinged on the facts that I know him to be a thorough breed advocate, an avowed bar man and respecter of the rule of law.” He stated.
