*Says This Is The Best Time For Gadzama To Become The President of the NBA
*Says He Cannot Testify Of Many Contemporary Lawyers Like Gadzama

The former Deputy Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Enugu Campus, Professor Ernest Ojukwu, SAN has endorsed Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN, as the next president of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, Ojukwu described Gadzama as a legal colossus who has contributed so much to the growth of lawyers and the legal profession.

He said, “Many lawyers have asked me what I think of JK Gadzama as President NBA.

I have watched JK grow as a young lawyer at Maiduguri to the legal colossus he is today. I cannot testify of many contemporary lawyers like JK Gadzama who have contributed so much to the growth of the legal profession, lawyers and especially young lawyers.

“JK deeply believes in and dutifully invests and supports the development of young lawyers’ skills, competencies, ethical values and career irrespective of backgrounds.”

Ojukwu further described Gadzama as fair minded and honest. According to him, this is the best time for Gadzama to become the next NBA president.

“JK is always fair-minded, selfless, appreciative, and honest but those that misunderstand him do so because they have not known JK. JK is a fighter; tough, bold, yet a respectful professional.

“He is deeply experienced as a lawyer and in the demands of the profession and NBA. He is steeped in the development and aspiration of the legal profession. This is the best time for JK Gadzama, SAN to become NBA President.

“It will be two years of great service to the profession. I surely endorse JK for NBA President.” Ojukwu said
