A Lawyer cannot be more morally upright and desirous to get it right than the Lawyers of the National Association of Catholic Lawyers under the auspices of Abuja Chapter. It is absolutely the right thing to do and in consonance with the current trend of affairs with other Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Branches and “Leaves (existing as appendage associations)”, to celebrate your Law Week dubbed: “Getting it Right in 2023 – A Responsibility for All”.

As patriotic citizens of our dear Country – Nigeria, who are tenaciously committed to the right approach in all our Nation’s endeavours, getting it right in 2023, is not just a responsibility for all, but a mandatory obligation for all. If our Country gets it right following the commitment of all to the right cause, the wailing about bad governance, bad infrastructure, bad conducts and system failure, as well as phobia for unprotected living in all parts of the Country and unguaranteed means of livelihood would be negative causes of the past.

I feel very Catholic (universal) and quite a good feeling, to associate myself with the National Association of Catholic Lawyers of Abuja Chapter, as it celebrate its Law Week, and profoundly commend the Leadership and members of this noble Association for their commitment to nation-building through hosting a Law Week in that regard. I congratulate and wish the Association a robust Law Week celebration, enjoining you all to be very celebratory of this occasion, as we cannot be (on a humourous note) too Catholic than the Pope.

GOD BLESS THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CATHOLIC LAWYERS, ABUJA CHAPTER!

—-AUTA NYADA, ESQ.

(Aspirant for the Office of National Welfare Officer, NBA)
