A member of the NBA Welfare Committee, Auta Nyada has congratulated the Ikeja branch of the Association on the occasion of its 2022 Law Week.

In his goodwill message made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, Auta expressed great pleasure in sending heartiest congratulations to the NBA Ikeja Branch and her esteemed leadership on the occasion of their 2022 Law week.

He stated further that the theme, ‘2023, looking backward to move forward’ is exciting, refreshing, and thought provoking.

He said: “Understanding the past puts us in a unique position to leverage on the present for a wonderful future.”

He continied, “Daisaku Ikeda once said, “A healthy vision of the future is not possible without an accurate knowledge of the past”. As Lawyers, we owe it to ourselves and the society at large, to look backward in order to be able to step forward in the right direction.”

Auta equally noted that as individuals we all have roles to play in making Nigeria a better society.

“Everyone of us have roles to play in making our society better. Self reflection, introspection, and always making sure we do not repeat mistakes of the past, will go a long way in moving us forward.”

Concluding, he emphasised that The NBA Ikeja Branch has always set the bar high and expressed confidence that they will continue in that light.

“The NBA Ikeja Branch has always set the bar high and I am sure it will keep on doing that for a long time.

Once again, Congratulations.

God bless the NBA
God bless the NBA Ikeja Branch
God bless Nigeria.”
