A member of the NBA Welfare Committee, Auta Nyada has congratulated the leadership and members of the Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum, Ibasan on the occasion of her 3 days symposium themed: “Envisioning the Future of Legal Practice in Oyo State”.

In a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, Auta noted that the level of cognisance with which the theme of the seminar was couched is highly commendable, as it is cheering to know that the Young Lawyers Forum, Ibadan Branch is actively alive to the reality of their place in the future of the Legal Profession in Oyo State and beyond.

According to him, the future of the Legal Profession holds promises and dreams that can only be actualised through hard work, proper planning and skillful implementation, doggedness and above all, a dedicated, committed and future focused continuous Legal Education.

He equally described the Summit as a pathway to the rolling into the archives, the aforesaid virtues in the future of our Legal Practice.

“This Summit gives credence to the words of Mahatma Gandhi, thus: ”The future depends on what you do today”.

In effect of the above, I am certain that the Summit would some day be recounted as the bricks and materials used in the architectural design for the rebuilt Legal Profession of our dream.

It is my feeling that upon the conclusion of this event, the participants would no doubt live up to their full potentials and remain impactful to the Legal Profession and the larger Society.”
