The Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) of the Nigerian Bar Association has given its support for the NBA Presidential ambition of one its prominent members, Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau.

Maikyau who is the Chairman of the NBA Welfare Committee had earlier delivered a highly applauded speech at the opening ceremony of the NBA Makurdi Law Week

After gracing to opening ceremony in Makurdi, he proceeded to the Monthly Branch General Meeting of his local branch, the Abuja branch.

The Monthly Abuja Branch General Meeting held on the 3rd of June, 2022 was hosted by James Ogwu Onoja SAN who received Maikyau with warmth and joy.

At the august meeting, Mr Maikyau SAN was supported by his Branch as a candidate for the office of NBA President.

Maikyau, whilst relishing every moment of the Meeting, made it to the after-meeting party, and regaled the audience with his dance in an atmosphere of fanfare and glitz.
