Mrs Linda Role Bala has extolled the theme of the Nigeria Bar Association, Ile-Ife branch 2022 Law week in a goodwill messsge to the branch.
In ger message made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, she described the choice of the theme: “Exploring The Law As a Catalyst Towards a Truly Federal State” as a testament to the fact that the branch understands the mood of the nation.
While felicitating with the leadership and members of the branch, she noted that there is pressing need to have honest discussions about the system of government we need to succeed, saying that a truly federal state will benefit use more than the current one with high concentration of powers at the centre.
She therefore expressed pleasure that the issue shall be interrogated in this year’s conference even as she enthusiastically await the communiqué from the robust discussions.
