The former Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association, Lokoja Branch, Liman Salihu Esq, has felicitated with Kaduna and Isokpo branches on the auspicious occasion of their law week and seminar respectively.

Kaduna Branch on the 27th began the celebration of its Annual Bar Week with the themed “Expanding the Frontiers of Legal Practice”, and the event is scheduled to come to an end tomorrow, the 31st May.
According to him, “it is with great delight to use this opportunity to felicitate with the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) Kaduna and Isokpo Branches on the occasion of their 2022 Law Week and Seminar respectively.
“The theme of Kaduna branch which is Expanding the frontiers of Legal Practice is a reminder of the need for the practice of law to be susceptible to changes and transformations which are the hallmark of progress and development.
“On the other hand, the seminar of the Isiokpo branch which is tagged “CONTEMPORARY AREAS IN LEGAL PRACTICE: CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS FOR YOUNG LAWYERS.” is also a reminder of the need for the practice of law to be dynamic and innovative in nature.
“These two themes are very similar in many respect. They both capture the fact that, the NBA and indeed all relevant stakeholders should braze up for the huge challenges of thinking outside the box in many respect.
“The themes suggest the need for the law to be made to continue to evolve in many respect so that, it could be able to meet human want and solve societal problems.
“It is very instructive to note that, young lawyers are at the heart of law practice in the 21st century which is the jet/light age where technology is not used to automate the practice of law in many respect.
“I therefore call on all stakeholders to prioritise the welfare of young lawyers so that we all can properly expand the frontiers of law practice in Nigeria and beyond.”
