The Election Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association has cleared former Chairman Nigerian Bar Association Lokoja Branch, Liman Salihu Esq, to contest for the office of first (1st) Vice President of the Association.

Reacting to this, the former Chairman said: “It gives me great pleasure to inform the entire members of our noble association that, I have been officially cleared to contest for the post of 1st Vice President in the forthcoming elections slated for July, 2022.
“This notification came vide a letter dated 20th May, 2022, having duly met the requirements as enumerated in the Constitution of the NBA and Guidelines of the ECNBA.
“I am delighted and thus, I wish to express my sincere gratitude to you all for your support shown me these past weeks.
“As we continue on spreading the news of my being cleared, I urge you all to remain steadfast to the ideals of issue based dialogue and devoid of rancour or enmity.
“God bless you all! God bless the NBA!!”
