*Gets Inducted As Member and Elder of Surulere Lawyers Forum

The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Welfare Committee, Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau on Wednesday, 18th of May, 2022, participated in the meetijg of the Surulere Lawyers Forum.

Maikyau who arrived the venue with his entourage was welcomed with an ambience of friendship and merriment at the fully packed venue of the meeting which enjoyed massive turnout.

In his address, the Learned Silk engaged the members of the forum in a frank discussion about the future of the forum, the bar and our dear country Nigeria. He praised the leadership of the forum on its remarkable feat of galvanizing its members towards the set ambition of becoming a branch, he also espoused the virtues of the Forum as one known for its stand in upholding the core values of the profession. He remarked that Integrity is the hallmark of a lawyer and the major foundation upon which a successful practice, association or forum is built.

After his address, the leadership of the forum appreciated him for his strides in the legal profession and kind inclination towards the branch.

They thereafter announced his worthy induction as a Member of the Forum and a Honourary Elder.

They thanked him for honouring the meeting and wished him well in his endeavors.
