Justice Odili(Rtd), bowed out of the nation’s judiciary on Thursday, after attaining the mandatory retirement age of 70 years.
Amanda in her statement on Monday, noted her retirement as “landed Eagle”.
She said “An Eagle has landed”. I warmly Congratulate MARY ODILI, JSC on her retirement as Justice of the Supreme Court for building an amazing , long and inspiring career and team.
“You have fought a good fight and did an excellent job. We are proud of your accomplishments in ensuring that justice is served.
She described her as the “Indomitable One”.
“Your leadership will be missed. You’ve been an inspiration personally and professionally – I call you ‘THE INDOMITABLE ONE’
“As you move up to the best position attainable, Happily Retired, we wish you a fulfilled retirement and I pray that the Almighty God bless you and give you the best of health, happiness, and success on your new journey in life.
