Past National Officer and Member Enugu Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Chukwuemeka Mbamala Esq, has felicitated with Muslim Faithfuls as the mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, the Former Assistant Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association while congratulating muslims on the end of the Ramadan fast, noted that this is the time to reflect on the days of fastibg and supplication to Allah.

While praying for Allah’s blessings, joy and prosperity, he called for fervent prayers that Nigeria be saved from insecurity, bad governance, bad economy and disunity in the country.

The statement reads in full:

As Muslims world over celebrate today, its my pleasure to felicitate with our Muslim Colleagues as they mark the end of the sacred month of Ramadan.

This is the time to reflect on the days of fasting and supplication to Allah. It is a time to recommit to values of gratitude, compassion and generosity. Above all, this celebration affords us that special opportunity to reunite, cheer and commune with family friends and relatives.

While you savour the season with family and friends, I urge you to pray more fervently that we be saved from insecurity, bad governance, bad economy and disunity in the country. That in the next general election in Nigeria, the country will be fair to choose from areas that has not produced the presidency of the country for lasting peace

Finally, may Allah brings you joy, happiness, peace and prosperity on this blessed occasion.
