The Nigerian Bar Association, Ilorin Branch has added the name of Chief J-K Gadzama, SAN, OFR, MFR to the list of eminent personalities on her “Roll of Honour” for his contribution to the development of legal profession in general and development of Ilorin Bar in particular.

The Branch “Roll of Honour” is an age long board at the Branch Secretariat which showcases names of notable Nigerians who are achievers in their developmental strides to Ilorin Bar in areas of service and/or contributions to the NBA Ilorin developmental projects.
In his Goodwill Message to the Branch during the May 2022 Monthly General Meeting, Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN, OFR, MFR commended the Branch leadership under the chairmanship of AbdulGaneey Bello ACIArb for his tremendous achievements and raising Ilorin Bar higher among the branches of the Nigerian Bar Association.
Chief Gadzama, SAN was represented at the Branch meeting by a former Counsel in the Law Office of J-K Gadzama LLP and immediate Past Chairman, NBA Ilorin Branch, MAI Akande. Akande, whilst delivering the goodwill message on behalf of the Learned Silk said Chief Gadzama is a Bar Man per excellence who is a mentor to many young and senior lawyers. He said that the Friends of Gadzama in Kwara State and beyond have made some contributions to cater for some immediate needs of the Branch and to face-lift the NBA Ilorin House.
He went further to state that the “FRIENDS OF GADZAMA” will host this eminent Member of Federal Republic (MFR) and Officer of Order of Niger (OON); Chief J-K Gadzama, SAN during the sallah break on Tuesday, 3rd May 2022 by 3pm at the NBA House, High Court premises, GRA, Ilorin and many other activities are lined up to make Chief Gadzama’s stay memorable. He therefore urged Branch members to honour them with their distinguished presence.
Some of the previous honourees of the NBA Ilorin “Roll of Honour” include the 1st Chairman of the Branch, Late Chief Akin Akintoye (of blessed memory), the 2nd Republic Minister of Defence, Late Alhaji Akanbi Oniyangi (of blessed memory) Chief PAO Olorunnisola, SAN, Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN, Asiwaju Adegboyega Awomolo, SAN, Mallam Yusuf Ali, SAN, all past Branch Chairmen and roll of other Distinguished legal luminaries.
