The Chief Judge of Delta State has approved a request from the Forum of NBA Chairmen, Delta State led by Chief Emmanuel O. Uti to make the payment of the Bar Practicing Fee as a condition to right of audience in the Courts.

In a letter dated 25th of April, 2022 and signed by the Chief Registrar of the Delta State High Court, O. Aforkeya Esq., the Chief Judge has approved the request made by the NBA Chairmen in the stated in their letter dated 4th of April, 2022 and has directed courts in the state to ensure enforcement.
It reads in part; “I am directed by His Lordship, the Honourable, the Chief Judge to refer to your letter dated 4th of April, 2022 on the above subject matter and to inform you that the Honourable Chief Judge has approved and directed that Courts in the State should enforce the payment of the Bar Practicing Fees as a condition to right of audience in the Courts.”
