Former Social Secretary of Nigerian Bar Assocation Enugu Branch and Support Lawyer Avocats Sans Frontieres France ASFF a.k.a Lawyers without Borders, Ikechukwu Maximus Ugwuoke Esq, has called on all Nigerian Christian lawyers to imbibe the lessons of Easter by appreciating the sacrifice, death on the cross and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Ugwuoke, made this remark while extending his heart felt good wishes to all Nigerian Christian Lawyers to commemorate this year’s Easter celebrations.

He said, “Easter being the summation of Christian faith and belief in power of resurrection and triumph over death, I implore them to use the occasion to take stock of their lives and emulate the virtues of love, humility, selflessness and sacrifice demonstrated by Jesus  Christ and apply same in their dealings with every member of the society .

“They should also use the period to pray for God’s leading and  intervention in the welfare needs of  Nigerian lawyers and all citizens of the this country at large especially at this point  in our history when the bar and the nation are preparing  to elect new crop of leaders.

“May the message of peace being spread by the risen Christ at his appearances after His resurrection bring unending peace, respect for human rights and lead us to the path of  growth and economic prosperity.”
