Past National Welfare Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Adesina Adegbite(AA), FICMC  said it is indeed a great pleasure sending this goodwill message NBA Lagos Branch (The Premier Bar), on the auspicious occasion  of its 2022 Law Week.

The branch on Friday commenced Its Law Week, which kicked off with Jumaat prayer.

The annual event continues today, Monday,  21st March, 2022, with its 1st – 4th plenary sessions at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event is scheduled to end on Tuesday, 22nd March, 2022 is with the theme “Democracy and the Legal Order: Shaping The Future”.

“This Theme is very apt and a clarion to reawaken the sensibilities of legal practitioners, the political class and indeed the populace, especially in this dispensation of politicking both within our professional body and in our country.

“As we are fast approaching the season of general elections, it is exigent that we remind ourselves that only a just and transparent Electoral process can engender a sustainable Democracy.

“I salute my dear friend and brother the Chair of Lagos Branch, Ikechukwu Uwanna Esq, all the Exco members and my big brother Mr. Wale Adesokan SAN and his committee members for their commitment to making this Law Week a great success.

“I congratulate and celebrate with all members of Lagos Branch as we proceed into this Law Week which I have no doubt in my mind will be most successful.

“Wish you all fruitful deliberations and productive engagements all through the Law Week.”
