Meaning, it was made for the one and only Chief Akinola!;
How well he deserves to reap what he has sowed!

Talking of caps, Chief adorns many of them;
Arbitrator-Supreme, and the initiator of the NLS ’87 Whatsapp Forum;
Not to mention Senior Advocate of Nigeria – which is just the latest;
Suffice it to say that Chief has a passion for all that is good

His taking of silk is as good an occasion to celebrate him as any;
Having always shunned the limelight (he is famously self-effacing) –
Few can boast of knowing all about him;
That is just as well, however, lest his privacy be breached

But, not for long, Chief, you can’t deny these accolades!;
Here’s toasting your good health, protection and longevity;
If nothing else, for birthing our reunion as classmates;
