Former National Officers of the Nigerian Bar Association Chukwuemeka Mbamala, has bagged another award as the NBA, Enugu Branch.

The Branch at its just-concluded Law Week, the Chairman Hon. Jude Ezegwui conferred on him with an award of Excellence in Legal entrepreneurship and consistency in legal save initiative for Lawyers, Enugu Nigeria.
The award which was held during the dinner night on 3rd of Dec 2021 was one of the events marked to end the Law week of Enugu Bar.
In his speech, the Chairman extolled the awardee on his uncommon initiative which has touched the lives of Lawyers in the branch and other branches in Enugu and beyond.
The Legalsave initiative is a savings scheme that has helped Lawyers to save and accumulate funds, many have used their saved money to buy car, pay office and house rent, subscribe to law reports etc.
The chairman remarked that since the inception of the scheme 11years ago nobody has brought any petition against the awardee. Mbamala has also contributed in the capacity building of the young lawyers by partially financing some to National conferences.
The occasion witnessed the presence of the Bench, notable personalities in and outside Enugu State.
Awards were also given to other deserving individuals.
