The much-anticipated football match between FIDA Amazons and Gadzama Babes finally took place yesterday, Thursday, November 25, 2021.

Before the main event began, the male lawyers in J-K Gadzama LLP took on the Support Staff in the firm. The game commenced at exactly 4:30 p.m. and continued for a duration of one hour. The Support staff pulled off a comfortable 7-3 win against the male lawyers.

After the opening match was concluded, the novelty match began. Both FIDA Amazons and Gadzama Babes achieved the targeted aim of Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN as they displayed a high sense of team spirit.

The friendly match between the FIDA Amazons and Gadzama Babes came to an end at about 6:10 p.m. with both teams at a deadlock of 0:0. Despite the result of the match, it was a great game as the female players were able to showcase their hidden football skills and talents. Both teams fought till the last whistle. The Referee awarded penalty kicks to the teams when the match ended to break the tie but this was overruled by the celebrant, who indicated that the result brilliantly showcased why it was a friendly match in the first place.

The Learned Silk, Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN was not left out of the game as he made impressive shots which proved his skills and love for the game. The football match was well attended by several dignitaries such as: Prof. Paul Idornigie, SAN; Mr. John Aikpokpo-Martins;The Chair of FIDA Abuja, Mrs Racheal Reki-Rich; the Country Vice President, Rhoda Prevail Tyoden, who led several Fida members to the pitch; Dr. Princess Chukwuani; representatives from FIDA, amongst many others.
