The round table conversation started at about 1:00 p.m., where some invited guests, members and staff of the J-K Gadzama LLP were in attendance to network and discuss some pressing National issues.

The roundtable conversation afforded the attendees the opportunity to air their opinions on the issue of insecurity in Nigeria and how helpless this issue has left the Nigerian citizens.
The issue of kidnapping was discussed as well, noting that it has seemingly become a business venture. Worthy of mention, is that David Aigbefo, the Vice Chairman of NBA Gwagwalada branch and the famous lawyer who fought off kidnappers who attacked him in his house was present at the event. He made some very key comments on how citizens can effectively fight off bandits and criminals in our communities.
The round table conversation was an interesting one as it had Professor Idornigie SAN, as the chairman of the event, Mela Nunge, SAN and other distinguished guests.
The state of the Legal profession was discussed as it was suggested that the curriculum of the Nigerian Universities and the rules of professional conduct should be reviewed and the relationship between the Bench and the Bar should be improved.
It was resolved that in our individual lives, the legal profession should be uplifted at all costs, all the time.
The round table conversation ended with the resolution that both the Government and individuals should play their roles in order to achieve and reach greater heights as individuals and in the Nation.
