The NBA Ilorin branch under the Chairmanship of AbdulGaniyu Bello; ACIArb (UK) has concluded plan to formally honour Y. C MAIKYAU, SAN by including his name on the prestigious NBA ILORIN ROLLS OF HONOUR BOARD.

In the letter of the branch, personally signed by the Chairman and made available to us, the Chairman disclosed that the decision of the leaders of the branch to include the learned Silk’s name on the ROLLS OF HONOUR’s list has been unanimously approved by members at the General Meeting of the branch held on the 27th August, 2021.
This is to further appreciate the selfless sacrifices and contributions made by Mr Y.C MAIKYAU, SAN to the development of the Branch.
The ROLLS OF HONOUR rank was established in the year 2005 with Mallam Yusuf Ali, SAN as the Chairman. It is the highest honour known to the branch.
It is to be noted that the branch has over the years included the names of prominent Nigerians, eminent jurists, legal luminaries and NBA Ilorin past leaders including: The Emir of Ilorin {Dr. IbrahimSulu Gambari},Hon Justice S.M.A Belgore {former Chief Justice of Nigeria}; Justice M.M Akanbi and Justice Ayo Salami, both past Presidents of the Court of Appeal; Former Governors of Kwara State, Admiral Muhammed Lawal and Dr Bukola Saraki; two Former Presidents NBA, Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN and Chief Bayo Ojo, SAN. Also included on the list at different times are: Chief P.A.O Olorunnisola SAN, Alhaji Aliyu Salman SAN, Chief Adegboyega Awomolo SAN, Mallam Yusuf Ali SAN, former NBA General Secretary, Lawal Rabana SAN, Alhaji Oba Adelodun SAN, Alhaji Saka Isau SAN, Prince Lateef Fagbemi SAN, Pastor John Baiyeshea SAN, Chief Roland Otaru SAN, K.K Eleja SAN, Dr Kayode Olatoke SAN, Prof Wahab Egbewole SAN, Prof M.M Akanbi SAN, Alhaji Salman Jawondo, Chief R. O Balogun, NBA former national legal adviser, Dr Mobolaji Ojibara to mention but a few.
