Former National Officers of the Nigerian Association, Chukwuemeka Mbamala, has wished has congratulated President Olumide Akpata, the Conference Planning Committee and members of the association, on the successful conduct of the 61st AGC.

NBA Annual General Conference commenced from 22nd to 29th in Port Harcourt, Rivers.

The 7 days event which took place as Marquee, Yakubu Gowon Stadium had “Taking The Lead”, as the theme.

Mbamala, in his congratulatory message, said:

“As the 61st Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association comes to an end, I wish to use this medium to congratulate the President of NBA and his executive, all my learned colleagues and especially the Technical Committee on Conference Planning (TCCP) for this year’s conference on a hugely successful event.

“I believe we are all positively impacted and enriched by the deliberations here in Port Harcourt. 

“We are once again afforded unique opportunities to network, renew old acquaintances and make new ones.

“I, for one, have been inspired by the quality of the discourse among stakeholders in our profession and our nation, and even more resolute in my desire to contribute my quota towards improving the fortunes of our dear profession – and I believe I speak for most of us in this regard.

“As we return to our respective bases, I bid all my fellow delegates a fond farewell (hopefully a short one, until we gather again soon, God willing) and I pray God to grant all of us journey mercies back to our destinations.”
