The former chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Abuja Branch, Desmond Yamah, has welcomed lawyers to the ongoing NBA Annual General Conference
The AGC which started on the 22nd of October, 2021 at Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Elekahia, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, will last till 29th October, 2021. The Conference is a hybrid (virtual and physical participation).
In a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, Yamah said he believes that the conference will be educative
“I want to heartily welcome lawyers to the NBA Annual General Conference 2021, tagged ‘Taking the Lead’.
“With the lineup of speakers and the strategic venue for this year’s conference, I’m convinced that the 61st AGC will be educative, engaging and entertaining,” Yamah said
He prayed for the success of the program and hoped that the event will have ripple effect on both NBA and the nation.
He said, “It is my earnest prayer that the success of this year’s conference will have a ripple effect on not just the NBA, but on our nation at large.
