Former Chief Judge of Lagos State, Honourable Justice Samuel Omotunde Ilori, is dead.

This was formally announced on Wednesday by his daughter, Ms. Olukemi Ilori.
Late Justice Ilori passed on Tuesday, afternoon in Lagos State.
According to the information made available to TheNigerialawyer late Justice Ilori was well and just passed on peacefully on Tuesday.
He was the 9th Chief Judge of Lagos State.
He was the Jurist that jailed Gani Fawehinmi for contempt.
He was born on 5th January 1934 and was blessed with children.
Funeral arrangements will be later.
