The Chief Judge (CJ) of Enugu State, Hon. Justice P. N. Emehelu, will on Thursday 3rd of September, 2021 inaugurate a new Division of High Court of Enugu State located at Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State and a Chief Magistrate Court Nike, Nike Magisterial District built by the Enugu State Government.

This is contained in a letter dated 1st of September signed by the Chief Registrar, Kingsley O. Eze addressed to the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Obollo-Afor Branch.
Eze stated that the establishment of the new Division was approved by Governor of the State, Hon. (Dr.)Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi.
The circular reads in part, “I am directed by the Chief Judge of Enugu State Hon. Justice N.P. Emehelu, FCIArb., F.DRI, FICMC to invite you and members of your branch to the commissioning and inauguration of the High Court Orba, Udenu Judicial Division and the Chief Magistrates Court Nike, Nike Magisterial District “.
The inauguration is scheduled to take place by 11am on September 3, 2021 at High Court Premises, Orba, Udenu Local Government Area by 11am and at Temporary Site, Chief Magistrates Court Nike, Enugu East Local Government Area.
