The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Welfare Committee, Y.C Maikyau SAN, FCIArb, has felicitated with leadership and members of the Benin Branch of the Association on their 2021 law week.
The week-long event with the theme: ”The Imperative Cost of Insecurity in Nigeria: The fate of the Common Man and the Rule of Law”, is ongoing in Benin City. It started from the 3rd May and will end on the 7th of May 2021.
Maikyau said “May I seize this opportunity to extend my warm felicitation and goodwill to the leadership and members of the NBA Benin Branch as you organize and attend your Law Week for the year 2021. The theme ‘The Imperative Cost of Insecurity in Nigeria: The fate of the Common Man and the Rule of Law’, captures the urgency of our Nation’s current realities.”
He added, “It is my hope that the insightful sessions and discussions of this timely theme would be concluded with resourceful resolutions and suggestions that can help our dear country overcome her current security travails.”
