The Public and Private Development Centre (PPDC) a Nigerian Citizenship sector organization based in Abuja, is inviting interested and qualified person(s) to serve as a consultant(s) and researcher(s) for in-depth analysis with regards to the freedom and accessibility of information in Nigeria, and the impact of the F.O.I. ranking in Nigeria.

The Scope of work includes:
1] carrying out an in-depth landscape analysis of the impact of FOI ranking in Nigeria.

2] Working with the National FOI cohort in designing and applying a developed parameter across MDAs.

3] Coordinating meetings on 2021 FOI ranking with stakeholders and cohort members.

4] Would be responsible for FOI request correspondences with government agencies
Coordinate with PPDC and members to develop an automated ranking report for MDAs

5] Coordinating the launch of the 2021 FOI ranking

The following eligibility criteria are of prime importance in the employment:

1] At least a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) in any of the following fields; Law, Social Science, Humanities or any other relevant field from a recognized university or research institution. We strongly recommend women to apply.

2] Evidence of similar work done in the past 2 or 3 years.

3] Strong background in development space working with civil societies, government agencies and the private sector.

4] Good writing and communication skills.

5] Strong research experience, analytical and writing skills.
