The Chairman of the MidWest Bar Forum of the NBA, Mr. Chike Onyemenam SAN, has expressed deep sadness over the passing away of Chief J.Y. Odebala, a prominent leader and member of the Nigerian Bar Association Sapele Branch.

Mr. Onyemenam SAN, made this known via a condolence letter, personally signed by him and addressed to the Chairperson of NBA Sapele Branch. The said letter was also made available to TheNigeriaLawyers.
The letter reads;

“I received the very sad news yesterday night of the passing on of one of the greatest Bar Leaders of our time, an Advocate par excellence and patriarch of the popular Odebala Dynasty.”
“His passing on is a huge loss to the entire Members of the N.B.A. Sapele Branch, the Mid-West Bar Forum and indeed the entire Legal profession in Nigeria.”
