The Nigerian Bar Association Gwagwalada (Eagle Bar) has postponed her 2020 Law Week indefinitely.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Law Week Committee Chairman, Isah Abubakar Aliyu, made available to TheNigerialawyer.

The Law Week was initially scheduled to hold from the 17th to  21st of April, 2020.

According to Aliyu, It has however become impracticable to proceed with the 2020 law week programme  in view of the Covid 19 Pandemic that has become  a serious health challenge the world over.

“We have discussed with the Branch  Executive Committee on the present challenge and  we have their concurrence  to postpone the NBA Gwagwalada (Eagle Bar) 2020 Law Week until further notice.

“Be informed that the committee shall communicate a new date as soon as the circumstances permit.

“We are currently reaching out to our invited guest, resource persons,  partners and others on this development.

“We intend sending out emails and also using the regular law bloggers to ensure this information gets to all of our highly esteemed partners.

“Thank you and God bless the Eagle Bar,” Aliyu stated.
